Magia is awarded in the Prescient Cabernet Sauvignon Report 2016

We are incredibly proud of our team for the outstanding achievement of scoring 91/100 in the Prescient Cabernet Sauvignon Report 2016, and ranking as 1 of 12 top wines out of 60 that were judged.

In conjunction with Prescient, a multinational financial services provider, Winemag.co.zapresented the fifth annual Cabernet Sauvignon Report (previously the Christian Eedes Cabernet Sauvignon Report).

Congratulations to our winemaker, Clayton Reabow!

In South Africa Cabernet Sauvignon is the third most widely planted variety making up 12% of the national vineyard and the Report was devised to scrutinise the top producers on an annual basis.

There were 60 wines in the line-up, submission by invitation only and judged blind, labels out of sight. 12 wines were rated 90 or higher on the 100-point quality scale and these were recognised during an event held at Gallery MOMO in Cape Town on Thursday, 19 May.
