View from the Top October 2011

2011 has been a sensational year at Môreson. We've been super-busy on the farm and in the winery. We have just finished suckering and, in the past month, our Chardonnay vines have moved on from just budding to putting on a full leaf display. Nothing heralds the arrival of spring, and the banishment of the winter chills, quite like the luminous green of fresh leaves in the vineyard.

The latest addition to the vineyards is a beautiful new Chardonnay block that is scheduled to come into production in 2016. It's full of the promise of things to come on Môreson and, judging by the health of these small vines, we have a lot to look forward to.

On the winery front we've recently released a selection of new vintages including: the 2010 Môreson Premium Chardonnay, the 2010 Môreson Pinotage the 2009 Môreson Mata Mata and the 2011 Môreson Sauvignon Blanc.

Each of these wines is superb and hopefully you'll be able to experience them before we sell out. But, a word of experienced advice, you should make it snappy because they are selling out faster than hotcakes … you have been warned.
